This pre-registration along with your deposit will guarantee you a place in the next A+ Driving School driver education class.
If you are registering multiple students at the same time, please give us a call so we can process your deposit in one transaction and make sure all discounts are properly applied.
Register online or print the registration form below and return it to A+ Driving School along with a $200 registration deposit, which will be deducted from the cost of the class. The balance of $250 is due the first day of class, or you may set up an installment plan. The total cost of the course is $450. You may pay by means of cash, check, credit card or money order. If you are a high school Honor Roll student or a college student, bring your current report card or college ID to receive a $10 discount. If you are active military/first responder, or if multiple family members take the same class, you each will receive a $25 discount.
The course consists of ten 3-hour classes and three 2-hour behind-the-wheel sessions. You must attend the first class and may miss no more than three classes to continue in the session. If you drop out of class or change classes 48 hours or less before the first class, you will be charged $50.
You and your parent or mentor are invited to attend the first session to learn about Maryland's Graduated Licensing System. Parents, mentors, and students will stay for the first half of class, and students will remain for the entire class. PLEASE BRING PAPER AND A BLACK BALLPOINT PEN. Also bring your birth certificate, passport or MVA learner's permit to complete identification requirements. You must be at least 15 years old to enroll in the course and must have the learner's permit to do the six hours of driving.
When you finish the total course, forty-eight business hours later you may take your driving test at the MVA if you have held the permit 9 months, completed 60 hours of practice driving, and scheduled your test.
